East Lancaster Vet Animal Hospital

Bob Verzosa, D.V.M.

You can find plenty of information about Parvo on the Internet, but what you really need to know is this:

  • The disease is easily prevented with a series of vaccinations. However, once your dog has gotten the disease, it is too late to treat with a vaccine.
  • If your dog has Parvo and you do nothing, your dog will most probably die.
  • The faster you get your dog to the vet, the better his chances of survival.
